Zeus seated to left on throne holding Nike and sceptre, on right **BASILEOS to left **ALEXANDROU* to left monograms of **PAR*, under throne **S*, (cf.S.7115, cf.Newell SMA 335, SNG Israel I (Spaer) 2219.2e, cf.ACNAC Houghton 302). Nearly extremely fine and rare.

Phoenicia, Sidon, Ba`alillem (Sakton) II, (c. 401-366 B.C.), silver double Shekel, 25x32 mm, (27.79 g), obv. Phoenician galley above waves left; above, ('b' in Phoenician), rev. Persian king, raising his right hand, and driver, holding reins with both hands, in chariot left; to right, king of Sidon, in Egyptian style garments, walking left, holding cultic sceptre in his right hand, (cf.S.5834, Betlyon 18. E&E-S Group IV.1.1.a., BMC 19ff, SNG Fitz 6046-8, HGC 10, 236). Very fine and very rare.

Darius I head to right with crescent above satrapal headdress, rosette before, rev. fire-altar, with superstructure in the form of stepped battlements, Ahura-Mazda hovering above king standing to right; on left, bird perched on standard, right, (S.6195, BMC 1-8 [p,207], Alram cf.551 & type as NB 1 [Pl.18, NB1]). Good very fine and very rare.

Baktria, Graeco-Baktrian Kingdom, Eukratides I, (170-145 B.C.), silver tetradrachm, 36mm, (16.97 g), obv. pith helmeted head of Eukratides to right with dotted border ornamented with bull's horn and ear, all within bead and reel border, rev. the Dioskouroi on horseback prancing to right, each holding spear and palm fronds, monogram of **HDTM*, in exergue **EUKRATIDOU*, around above **BASILEWS MEGALOU*, (cf.S.7570. Mitchiner 1.177.ee, Bopearachchi Series 6E, SNG ANS 465, MIG Type 177ee, HGC 12, 131 [S]). Good extremely fine in high relief, lightly toned, a scarce variant.

Baktria, Kingdom of, Eukratides I, (171-135 B.C.), silver tetradrachm, (16.92 g), obv. diademed and draped bust of Eucratides to right all within dotted border, rev. the Dioscouroi on horseback to right holding spears and palms, monogram of *FI* to right, below in exergue **EUKRATIDOU, above **BASILEWS, (S.7568, SNG ANS 432, Bopearachchi Series 1D, Mitchiner 1.168a). Extremely fine in high relief, minor flan crack, a rare variant.
