Phoenicia, Sidon, Ba`alillem (Sakton) II, (c. 401-366 B.C.), silver double Shekel, 25x32 mm, (27.79 g), obv. Phoenician galley above waves left; above, ('b' in Phoenician), rev. Persian king, raising his right hand, and driver, holding reins with both hands, in chariot left; to right, king of Sidon, in Egyptian style garments, walking left, holding cultic sceptre in his right hand, (cf.S.5834, Betlyon 18. E&E-S Group IV.1.1.a., BMC 19ff, SNG Fitz 6046-8, HGC 10, 236). Very fine and very rare.
