Percussion pistol, late 19th century, very long (approx 42cm) with 15mm bore steel barrel, this inscribed on top, nearly indecipherable but possibly 'Salop' and on the side plate for the hammer is etched with a pattern and the name, 'Horton', with a very deep trigger guard and a very large chequered pattern timber grip. In working order, fine.

Some minor wear to the thread, otherwise in good condition for its age.

Ottoman Empire, mid 19th century, yataghan sword (58cm), mid 19th century, with well forged 58cm blade with impressed maker's mark, fine bone grip with flared ears and around the centre and overlaying onto the blade for a distance of 9cm is an elaborately carved, raised silver decoration, with a very finely chased, heavy silver scabbard, total length including scabbard 81cm. Grips with a few age cracks and good age patina, one solder repair around the diameter of the scabbard, otherwise very fine.

Ottoman Empire, early 19th century, yataghan sword with 66cm blade in Damascus steel and with maker's mark and flat back edge, the handle is bone with flared ears and around the centre and overlaying onto the blade for a distance of 10cm is an elaborately carved, raised silver decoration, the scabbard of velvet with a gold bullion stripe down one side also has an elaborately carved silver locket (12cm) and chape (16cm), the top decorative locket section has a loop for attaching to a sword belt, total length including scabbard 82cm. Very fine.
