Anzac 20th Anniversary envelope, registered number 2445 and postmarked Devonport, Tas, 25AP35, written on the envelope, 'Issued April 25th 1935 commemorating the 20th anniversary of the landing of the Anzacs at Gallipoli with autographs of Anzacs who participated', addressed to Mr G Choveaux, Devonport, Tas., with three 2 pence red Anzac Commemorative stamps, two joined and with John Ash imprint, the envelope bearing the signatures of 35 Anzacs present at the Gallipoli landing, 22 on the front and 13 on the back. Extremely fine and probably unique.

Australian Victory Contingent to London 1946, autograph book with coloured first page by T.J.Lattin depicting HMAS Shropshire ploughing through the ocean waves and ship's crest plus opened scroll bearing the title, Australian / Victory Contingent / To / London 1946 / In / H.M.A.S."Shropshire", inside containing autographs of AMF, RAN, RAAF and Nursing components of contingent including signatures of Victoria Cross recipients, Pte Richard Kelliher, Pte Frank Partridge and Sgt Reg Rattey, also includes hand written names including rank and with honours and decorations of all 258 contingent members. Good very fine and unique.

Miscellaneous: Assortment of photos, cards and cigarette cards, mostly military related, also includes several featuring early Sydney and flood scenes in country New South Wales. Of particular interest is a series of photos relating to Pte W.W. Martin 58 Battalion AIF, KIA 29 September 1918 along with letters of sympathy from King George V and the Secretary of State for War. Many other named photos in the lot. There is also a Royal Air Force Convoy Note dated 1 July 1945 and signed by the vehicle driver LAC Goldberg and the recipient Corporal S Broadbelt. According to information supplied by the latter, following delivery of this consignment, Goldberg stole ammunition from the camp and while en route to Palestine he was captured and subsequently tried and executed. An interesting lot. Very good - very fine. (approximately 100)

WWI trench art, letter openers (2) in style of Arabic daggers, made from bullets, cartridge cases and copper and brass plate, one with blade engraved, '4-10-17 / ZONNEBEKE', also a WWI medal pair (copies), WWI Discharge Certificate for Pte A.E.Harris 50 Bn AIF and a variety of post war papers and documents as well as a studio portrait in uniform for Harris and a tape recording of his funeral service; also other family connected documents including Certificate of Discharge and other papers for his son Lance Sgt A.Harris, New Guinea Force Training School and Xmas Menu 1944 for the NG Training School with handwritten nominal roll and individual signatures (probably unique).
