Written by the same hand on the back "Jas.MCCarr/still rents Land/from Barney by/Wm Masons due/ Jany 1808/ú2.2.10" Printed by G.Howe at the Sydney Gazette. Very fine and exceedingly rare, of immense historical interest and the earliest promissory note in private hands.
