Fred Elliott watercolour, (15.5cm x 35cm), bordered and framed under glass with a hand-carved timber frame, typically of this artist it features a Sydney Harbour scene, significantly of interest as it depicts the arrival of the first Royal Australian Fleet as it enters through the Heads of Sydney Harbour on 4 October 1913, signed in the right-hand corner, 'F.Elliott' and in the left-hand corner the artist has inscribed, 'Australian Fleet / Entering Syd Har'. Some foxing, also considerable foxing on reverse of frame-glass, nonetheless an historic piece and fine.

This is a plan for an expanded parliament showing a much broader Legislative Assembly unlike the close adversial quarters of the 'Bearpit', whereas the Legislative Council was proposed to become octagonal. Plus Arms of the State of New South Wales and the Badge of the State of New South Wales, both in colour (23x20cm). Very fine. (3)
