World, a group of unusual items including a half taler of Austria, Rudolph II (1576-1612), dated 1584, obv. bust right, rev. two headed eagle; Germany, Saxony, August (1553-1586), 1554 quarter taler (Saurma-Jeltsch 4493 [Pl.LXXXI, 2400]); another Meissen, silver groschen, of Friedrich II (1428-1464), (Saurma-Jeltsch 4379 [Pl.LXXVII, 2342]); Bohemia, Wenceslas II (1278-1305), silver groschen, Prague mint, obv. crown with two circles of legend, rev. lion rampant, (Fiala 807 [Pl.XVIII); other Medieval (6); medal dated 1518 but later in pewter relating to Luther; ancient Roman (6) including Gordian III (238-244), antoninianus and another Gordian III of Moesia Inferior, Viminacium (S.3462); others (4) Turkey, imitative Judaea shekel 18th century, India and cut out European medalet etc. Several damaged, first tooled, two with loop mounts, one holed and several Roman, chipped, fair - very fine.
