Head of young Herakles to right, in lion skin headress, to right a bow, (cf.S.759 [p.79, £1800], Westermak & Jenkins 15.1 [This Coin, Obv.11, Rev. 20], SNG Lloyd 870 [same obverse die], Ward Colln. [Greek Coins & Their Parent Cities, 1902, 170] and Sotheby Sale 4.4.1973 (lot 122 same dies) = Hunt Sale I Sotheby, New York, 19 June 1990 [lot 79, realised $44,000], SNG ANS 1207 same reverse die). Flan splits in edge from coin striking, otherwise very fine and very rare, being one of only three known.

Siculo-Punic, mint of the camp, (c.320-310 B.C.), silver tetradrachm of finest style, (17.06 grams), obv. wreathed head of Persephone (or Arethusa) to left, wearing triple pendant earring and necklace, four dolphins swimming around, rev. horse's head to left, palm tree behind, Punic legend, "MMHNT" below, border of dots, (S.6434, Rizzo Pl.66, 3; SNG Lloyd 1631 [same dies], Jenkins SNR 56, [Series 3a] 148 [same dies, O47/R133]). Flat on top of hair, otherwise very fine or better with a choice tone and rare thus. The coin is mounted within a silvered frame and can be viewed from both sides. It also has a brief description underneath and is encased in purple velvet.
