Samaria, Satrap issue, (375-345 B.C.), silver hemi obol, (0.14 grams), obv. female head (Arethusa?), facing, border of dots, rev. bearded male head to left, with crested Athenian helmet, to left in Aramaic retrograde SMRYN, (Meshorer & Qedar 'Coinage of Samaria' [CS], CS 9 [43 known], and Samaria Hoard No.143 [CS], [This Coin, illustrated and described]). Weak in places, otherwise good fine for issue and very scarce.
