Washington and staff on horseback, watching the British evacuation of Boston and the entrance of the American forces, the so-called 'second restrike', from a late die state issued c.1890-1900 with diebreaks on the reverse above HO and in the exergue through REC, not inscribed on edge, (Baker 48, Julian MI-1). Bronzed finish with deep brown patina, extremely fine.
