Augustus, (27 B.C. - A.D. 14), AE dupondius or sestertius (by weight), struck in Gaul at the Nemausus Mint, issued after 16-15 B.C - 10 B.C., (AE 30, 24.55 g), obv. head of Agrippa to left wearing rostral crown and wreath, bare head of Augustus to right back to back, above IMP below traces of DIVI F, dotted border, rev. COL NEM on either side of palm-shoot, chained crocodile to right below, wreath above, (S.1728, RPC 522, RIC 155). Very fine, slightly off centred both sides, and extremely rare this heavy.
