Great Britain, vellum Indenture, 1788, between Joseph Devey and Ralph Powsell for the sum of five shillings for a lease of a parcel of land at Bobbington, South Staffordshire, England, signed and sealed by Joseph Devey with witnesses, with affixed duty stamp for one shilling and six pence, also other Royal monogram stickers. Foxing, otherwise fine.

Great Britain, large vellum Indenture of Assignment of a trust in four parts by Edward Gatacre to William Tongue, 1805, for a parcel of land and house with stable in the Parish of Bobbington, South Staffordshire, England, for the sum of 150 pounds owing by Edward Gatacre to Thomas Biddle, Samuel Biddle, Edward Simmonds and his wife Elizabeth (before marriage was spinster of Thomas Davis), signed and sealed by all parties and witnessed, with small Royal arms at top left and with three duty stamps affixed, one for one pound ten shillings, one for fifteen shillings and another for five shillings, as well as other Royal monogram stickers. Foxing and stains, otherwise very good.

Queen Victoria, partly printed DS, signed at upper left "Victoria R", one page (approx 38.1x28cm), February 22, 1850, an appointment for Randal Rumsley as "Lieutenant Colonel of our Twelth Regiment of Foot", the embossed paper seal remains intact below the signature, matted with a portrait print of Queen Victoria, framed under glass (approx 75.5x43.2cm). Fine.

Orsova; vintage KIGU powder compact in brass, on the front is inscribed the initials, 'MIK'; small brown plastic container, on the underside of the lid in relief is, 'Dendy-Point/Melb.'; small black hinged-lid box, inside is a very small brass bird; antique faux tortoise shell card case (approx 8x10.5cm), with large elaborate silver shield on the front and this with the initials, 'TIB', there is a piece missing at the top right and the case no longer closes shut; photo frame (21.5x26.5cm), in black and white mother-of-pearl pattern, with white plastic backing; another in identical material but oval in shape (approx 15.5x20cm) (note that some of the items in the frames have flaws). Water rescue citation, a signed and sealed letter from the Municipality of Waverly Council recording its appreciation for the bravery displayed by Mr Bert Doherty in rescuing Miss T.Kirby from drowning off the rocks at Ben Buckler, North Bondi on Sunday 18th March 1923, signed by C.W.Kavenagh, Mayor and L.W.Beagley, Town Clerk and outlining full details of the rescue. Glued to backing paper, aged and with some foxing, some short tears at edges, otherwise very good.

Horse spurs, one single spur in brass with strap buckle attached to one side lug; vintage very large single spur in silvered bronze, elaborately decorated and with securing leather strap, the large spur wheel in bronze with oxidation and missing a few spikes and one broken; also acrylic map of Australia suspended by chains from an overhead beam between two columns on a rectangular timber base (23x8.5cm), there appears to be something missing from the top of the overhead beam. Very good - fine. (3)
