Hunter pocket watch, mid 1800s, Swiss made by Edouard Bovet for Chinese market, in silver, key wind with key included, white dial with black Roman numerals and antique gold hands, subsidiary seconds dial with black Arabic numerals and black indicator hand, the dial is marked with gold Chinese text (Bo Wei) above a black number 15998, machine turned case with central shield within a garter on the lid, on the inside of the cover lid is stamped with a rampant bear symbol above Chinese text, in the centre is a Chinese incense burner with Chinese text and with Chinese text hallmarks at left and right, below is 0.900 above the number 4 above 15998, on the inside of the back cover and also of the separate works cover are the identical markings as on the inside of the lid but without the central Chinese incense burner, the works also impressed with same Chinese text as on the incense burner (all Chinese text on the inside of both lids and on the works is for Bo Wei, the name created by Bovet for its Chinese line of watches). Not working, spring appears to be broken, very small dent on lid, otherwise very fine.

Hunter pocket watch, c1910s, in silver, top wind with gilt winder, with push button to change time, white dial with gold and silver floral decoration and marked, 'Hebdomas Patent/8 Days/Swiss Made', left side of dial clear so spring wheel visible, black Roman numerals, gold hands, machine turned case with shield inside garter for initials on lid, inside lid and back cover marked for maker 'C.G.G.' (George Guillaume Gautschi), hallmarked .925 and number 260065, large resting barrel covering the back of the works and marked, 'Lever/8 Days/Guaranteed/Interchangeable' and profusely decorated with gold coins/medals designs. Appears to be not working, screw holding resting barrel in place is missing, case needs cleaning to remove some irregular toning, otherwise very fine.

Working order of first not known and with a few small dents in case, second appears to be working and with a thin crack in the dial enamel from the centre to 2 minutes past 12, also discoloured on back cover, otherwise fine - very fine. Half hunter pocket watch, late 1800s, Swiss made for Chinese market, in silver and with a white dial with black and white Yin Yang symbol in the centre of a Bagua, an octagonal trigram template, in the first circle around the central design are the Roman numerals I-XII for AM and then I-XII for PM, in a second circle are Chinese characters for the time in two hour intervals AM-PM, and in the final outer circle are Chinese characters for the time in three hour intervals AM-PM, with black hands and seconds hand, inside the back cover stamped with Chinese characters for Bo Wei (see note below) inside a lotus flower, the works are gold coloured and with a clear glass cover, the knob at the top end of the case is impressed with a Mercury head in a hexagonal on one side and on the other side is an indistinguishable character, key wind operation with key included, this is marked on one side, 'Alex./Ross/& Co' and on the other side with four Chinese characters meaning, 'Xin Qian/Yang Hang'. In working order, some age toning on the dial in a few places, otherwise good very fine.

Half hunter pocket watch, mid 1800s, Swiss made for Chinese market, in silver and with a white dial profusely decorated with peacocks, Chinese buildings and unpicked cherries, marked for 'Exclusif/Shanghai', small clock dial in centre with Roman numerals, black hands and seconds hand, small window at base with indicator to show watch is working, back cover hallmarked for London, date uncertain, also stamped with Chinese characters for Bo Wei inside a lotus flower (the symbol and name created by Bovet for its Chinese line of watches), the works are gold coloured and with a clear glass cover, push-button on suspender holder at top for opening back cover, also impressed on holder is an illegible hallmark, key wind operation with key included, this is marked on one side, 'Alex./Ross/& Co' and on the other side with Chinese characters meaning, 'Luo Tu Yang Hang'. In working order, some small dents on back cover, otherwise very fine.

Half hunter pocket watch, 1800s, key wind, appears to be silver, lift-up glass cover with a pierced hole in centre at the mid-point and above the centre of the dial hands, this cover is over a white dial with vintage period dressed lady in a balcony setting with bushes at left and seated looking over her left shoulder, small 12-hour time dial in centre with key wind hole at top right edge, the whole dial lifts up on a hinge to reveal the works and these marked, 'Romilly a Paris' and the number 14663, inside the back cover is the letter a inside a triangle and another indistinguishable mark, together with key size 5 with 6-petal flower on one side. In working order, small crack where dial meets hinge and small chip where key winder fits, letters on watch dial faded, bright square mark on back where a ticket has been removed (will fade and disappear over time), otherwise very fine.

Half hunter pocket watch, by Eclipse, very large size in silver (76mm), gilt top winder, with push button to change time, white porcelain dial marked 'Anti-Magnetique', with Roman numerals in purple circles with silver borders, floral display in centre, Arabic numerals from 13 to 24 around outer edge, antique gold hands, with a subsidiary seconds dial with Arabic numerals, decorated back frame for separate decorated works' cover both with hinges for opening separately, the works' cover inscribed, 'Ligne Droite Spiral Breguet/Ancre 15 Rubies/Eclipse', on the works is stamped with the Eclipse trademark, and on the inside of the works' cover is the stamp of a crown beside a crescent, a large grouse and 0.800 above P&M and at the base the number 7663. Glass dial cover secured with glue, some small dents on outer edge, appears to be in working order, very fine.

Working order unknown as no key, otherwise very fine.

In working order, some pitting on back cover from usage as usual and some small marks on dial, otherwise good very fine.
