First and last medal engraved, second medal impressed. Display mounted, heavy contact marks and some details of naming on first and last medals heavily contacted and hard to read, otherwise very good - fine.

Pair: Queen's South Africa Medal 1899, (type 3 reverse), - three clasps - Cape Colony, Orange Free State, Johannesburg; King's South Africa Medal 1902. 8883 Serjt. A.Sim. Lovat's Scouts. on first medal, 8883. Sergt. A.Sim. Lovat's Scouts. on second medal. First medal impressed, second medal engraved and renamed. First medal with a few small scratches and hairlines, otherwise good very fine, second medal missing suspender and clasps, there is a suspender with the ribbon but it is incorrect and a later issue, medal very fine.
