United Service Challenge Shield, 1910, in silver (85mm x 55mm), decorated by a cross with a star at each point, at the centre a scene of colonial troops, the quarters lightly engraved with naval and military groups, the top arm of the cross divides into a V, topped by a crown and a likeness of Queen Victoria, the bottom arm with the Australian Coat of Arms, with two brooch pins, engraved on reverse, 'Victorian Rifle Association / 1910 / Won by / Australia / J.Hudson'. Very fine.
