Pisidia, Selge, (380-370 B.C.), silver stater, (10.85 grams), obv. two naked athletes as wrestlers grasping each other by the hands, no letters in field between them, rev. slinger advancing to right about to discharge his sling, astragalos in field to right, before **STLEGION*, all within dotted square, (cf.S.5471, SNG Von Aulock 5247, SNG Cop. 241-2, SNG France 3 1919). Toned, extremely fine and very sharply struck.

Macedonian shield with gorgon's head as the central device, rev. elephant walking to right, horizontal anchor above, below in exergue **[B]ASILEW[S], traces of **ANTIOCOU* underneath, K monogram between elephant legs, (cf.S.6881, SC 1089.3c, Newell WSM 795, SNG Israel (Spaer) 272 [Antiochus I]). Phoenicia, Tyre, (c. 2nd century B.C. - 1st century A.D.), silver shekel or tetrarachm, (14.37 grams), Tyre mint, issued 99-98 B.C., obv. laureate head of Melqarth beardless to right, rev. eagle to left with closed wings, carrying palm, standing on prow of ship, club to left, to left HK ( = 28 [= 99-8 B.C.], to right monogram, Phoenician letter between legs, around **TUROU IERAS KAI ASULOU*, (S.5918, cf.BMC 113, H.917 [305]).
