Ten shillings, 1st August 1934, letter only, Z000001 (L. 601; P. 154). The very first issue, serial number 1 as presented to A.D. Park, C.M.G., Secretary to the Treasury (1929-35). Glue adhering to front top margin at edge where tipped into its original frame, slightly toned, otherwise uncirculated and of the highest importance as the first ten shillings issued by the New Zealand Government.
