Tight flan, otherwise good very fine.

Athena enthroned to left, holding Nike and resting left arm on shield, transverse spear resting against right side to right, to right **BASILEWS, to left **LUSIMACOU, **QEM below arm, TO on throne, trident below in exergue, (cf.S.6813, M.279, SNG Cop.1091). Extremely fine and virtually as struck.

Ionia, Miletus, (c.570-550 B.C.), electrum stater, (14.010 grams), obv. lion lying to right, head reverted, within rectangular frame divided into smaller rectangular compartments, rev. incuse rectangle between two small squares, within rectangle a fox to left and three pellets, square punch below contains stellate pattern, square punch above containing a reversed N pattern (cf.S.3439, £10,000; ACNAC Rosen 577 [similar dies], cf. Traite Babelon I, 18 [pl.i,17], cf.Head, B.V., Principal Coins of the Greeks Pl.I, No.7, cf.Weidauer 127 [Pl.14). Very fine, with irregular flan, extremely rare with the right facing lion much rarer than the usual left facing lion.

Zeus striding to left, aegis on his extended left arm, wielding a thunderbolt, at his feet an eagle to left, wreath above, to right **BASILEWS* and to left **[A]NTIOXOU*, (S.7497, cf.Newell ESM 713 (p.246, Pl.LIII, 5), M.63 variant [p.39 Vol.I]). Well centred, minor gash in head on obverse, otherwise extremely fine and very rare.
