Australia, WWI sweetheart brooch in voided mother of pearl in the shape of a Rising Sun badge with a kangaroo and emu at the sides and above the badge is a shield inscribed, 'A.I.F', the mother of pearl is attached to a voided 9ct gold backing with a pin-back fitting (39x31mm; tot wt 6.49g), with small loop at the top of reverse for fitting a safety chain. Very fine.
