Headmaster', reverse, a shield with anchor behind and bearing the arms of Erasmus Smith all within an open wreath of palm leaves, legend at top, 'Munificentia Erasmi Smith' (Of the Liberality of Erasmus Smith), inscribed around the bottom, 'James Dee. Head Of III. Form 1891.' Nicely toned, a few hairlines, otherwise nearly uncirculated.
