Manchester Riots, August 16 1819, in white metal (62mm) (BHM 989; Eimer 1112), obverse, cavalry troop cutting down men, women and children, reverse, words from Psalm XXXVII XIV. Die crack at date, edge bump and some surface marks on reverse, otherwise extremely fine and rare.

Ireland, (Tipperary Grammar School), 1891, school medal in silver (44mm), obverse, helmeted head of Minerva left with legend at top, 'Ingenio Virtute Labore' (By Talent, Virtue, Toil), inscribed around the bottom, 'Tipperary Grammar School.Richard H.Flynn.Esq L.L.D. Headmaster', reverse, a shield with anchor behind and bearing the arms of Erasmus Smith all within an open wreath of palm leaves, legend at top, 'Munificentia Erasmi Smith' (Of the Liberality of Erasmus Smith), inscribed around the bottom, 'James Dee. Head Of III. Form 1891.' Nicely toned, a few hairlines, otherwise nearly uncirculated.

Dairy Show, 1909.'; The Lyons Club, fob medal in silver (25.5mm), hallmarked for 1929 by maker 'D.G.C' (Daniel George Collins), ring top suspension. Fine - good very fine. (4)

Coronation of Edward VII, 1902, in bronze (63mm) (BHM 3772; Eimer 1870), by E.Fuchs, obverse, crowned and draped busts of King Edward VII and Queen Alexandra right, reverse, female figure seated with oval shield bearing Royal arms and inscribed 26 June 1902 looking toward Westminster Abbey and above is a radiate crown. Toned nearly extremely fine.

N.F.B.U., handcrafted medal in silver (54mmx33mm) hallmarked Birmingham, 1906, plain oval disc engraved both sides, with an ornate floral design surround, crossed fireman's axes and fire helmet, inscribed on obverse 'N.F.B.U./Nth Wst Dst', reverse engraved horsedrawn fire cart with firemen seated. Very fine.

The Duke Of Connaught M.W.G.M. (Most Worthy Grand Master) 1917'; also Army Temperance Association, British Indian Army membership medal in silver (34mm lozenge shape), with swivelling suspender scroll, with ribbon fitted. Both ribbons severely damaged, medals good very fine. (2)
