William IV, proof crown, 1831 plain edge, W.W. on truncation (S.3833; ESC 271). Rim bruise at 4 o'clock on reverse, edge with three surface bumps, minor damage to obverse rim at 2 o'clock, fields generally free of handling, reverse original toning, nearly FDC and very rare, the most significant milled crown rarity in the British series.
