Heraclius, (610-641), silver hexagram or double miliarense, Constantinople mint, issued 615-638, (6.61 gm), obv. seated crowned figures of Heraclius and Heraclius Constantine, cross between, legend around, rev. Cross potent on three steps, K to right, around DEUS ADIUTA ROMANIS, (S.798, DOC 64, BMC 100-5, T.216-7, R.1390-2). Very fine, double struck and a scarce variety.

Byzantine, a collection of various bronze issues from Anastasius I - John III, mostly described in packets, housed in Dansco coin album (45) noted nice AE follis and fraction of Justinian I; follis of Maurice Tiberius; fractions of Justin II; Maurice Tiberius; Heraclius; and assorted billon trachy; also includes several unrelated issues; Pilgrim's token; and a countermarked Arab Byzantine and fragments described as Vandal etc. Poor - very fine.
