Britannia seated near the sea shore, contemplating her navies sailing on the ocean. FAVENTE DEO (God being propitious) and BRITANNIA below, edge reads in finely executed raised letters: CAROLVS SECVNDVS PACIS ET IMPERII RESTITVTOR AVGVSTVS (Charles II august restorer of peace and of the empire), (M.I. 185, Eimer) Deep dusty tone, extremely fine or better.
