L. Papius Celsus, (c.45 B.C.), silver denarius, Rome mint, (3.87 grams), obv. head of Juno Sospita to right, clad in goat's skin, dotted border, rev. she-wolf standing right placing stick on burning brazier to right, with an eagle fanning the flames with its wings, [L] PAPIVS in exergue, CELSVS III VIR above, (S.461, Cr.472/1, Syd.964, RSC Papia 2). Slightly off centred, lightly toned, otherwise good very fine and very scarce.

P. Clodius M.f.Turrinus, (42 B.C.), silver denarius, Rome mint, (3.92 grams), obv. Apollo head laureate to right, lyre behind, dotted border, rev. Diana Lucifera standing facing holding two long torches, bow and quiver at shoulder, P CLODIVS before M.F. on left, (S.492, Cr.494/23, Syd.1117, RSC Claudia 15). With obverse scratches and hoard patination, otherwise nearly very fine.
