Merchant Marine officer's hat badges. Australian Merchant Marine with enamelled Australian Red Ensign in centre of a gilt wreath; M.P.J.S. Co. on a white crossed red flag in enamel in centre of a gilt wreath; Ferry & Tugboat Employees Union enamelled badge issued in 1913 in commemoration of reduction in working hours to 48 per week, with some enamel missing (Smith 386). Fine - very fine. (3)

Corporation of the City of Hobart, Employee's Disc in brass (38mm), one issued (NH97) impressed with the number 107, and the other unissued (NH98). The obverse has the words 'City of Hobart' around the top and 'Employee's Disc' around the bottom, with the reverse blank. The uniface disc was used for identification purposes when collecting pay. Extremely fine and scarce. (2)
