Certificate of Service in the Great European War, Private M.A. Campbell, 'A' Company 77th Battalion, C.E.F. Enlisted at Ottawa, November 17th 1915. Large (51 x 34cm) multicoloured, orante certifcate printed on heavy cardboard, depicting vignettes of the King, mounted rifleman and naval ship together with various arms, weapons and floral wreaths. Private Campbell's portrait inserted lower centre, nice item. Extremely fine.

Diary of William Richardson (later, Major-General William Richardson), a diary and Sikh standard captured at Ferozeshuhur, India during the 1st Sikh War; an extract from his diary whilst he was Captain, 24th December 1845 'Through all this scene the only exhultation I felt was as carrying the camp which we did at a run: my company capturing a very handsome standard'. The diary and standard are both highly important historic relics (the standard contained in a box). Together with a brass pen, inkwell combination, a small dagger. Good - fine. (5)
