Umzimkulu, Strachan and Co, complete series of sets I (uniface), II (MH) and III (both sides)(2) of store checks in brass. 2/-, 1/-, 6d and 3d, set II has MH as well as S& Co., M.H. stands for Mountain Home the location of Rupert Jackson's store, he was a cousin of the Strachans, undated but circa 1895 up till 1930's (T.E.G & T IX; M.582- 595). Very fine - nearly uncirculated, only a few sets known of set II, the MH set (16).
