Countermarked issues, T C countermarked on the reverses of Sumatra four kepings 1804 and E.I.C. Bombay Presidency half anna 1834. G P O Ceylon token in cupro-nickel (15mm)(see Ford Sale lot 297). Uncertain piece, possibly a weight for 96 stivers (or double rix dollar) circa 1815, in copper (17.57 grams) or a trial, no legend, die axis upright (see M.E.Freehill & R.J.Ford articl in N.Circular). Ceylon Medical College founded 1870, 'The Nielsen Medal for Practical Anatomy 1905' in silver (42mm) edge inscribed E.C.SPAAR with clasp suspension. Fine - very fine, the fourth excessively rare if not unique (5).
