World War I, diary of the Gallipoli campaign, covering the period from 28th August, 1915 to 11 February, 1916 in fifty pages. Research pinpoints the writer as being Major Charles Manning Orr of N.S.W. Shortly after his arrival at ANZAC he was seconded to the 2nd Battery and served for some time as Forward Observing Officer at Lone Pine, he also visited most of the other battle sites. Interesting and rare.
