Baron Manfred Von Richtofen (The Red Baron) W.W.I. German fighter ace, a piece of fabric from the wing of his aeroplane after it was shot down over Bertangles, France 21 April 1918. The piece of fabric is attached to a hand written letter by Chas. H. Copp on 28.6.21 giving his thoughts on the Red Baron, this letter was written to Lt. Brind of the 2nd Australian Tunnelling Coy, together with newspaper clippings. An interesting piece of W.W.I. memorabilia. Good. (5).
