Full original satin like surface with very high rims, minute rim filing at 11 o'clock on obverse and flaw in face of St George takes away from perfection as a specimen (or proof) striking, nearly FDC and extremely rare, one of the best three known. Almost certainly one of the few sovereigns struck in the final days prior to the closure of the Sydney mint. Item 55 in A.H.
