Mt Magnet Goldfields brooch, c1908, in gold (15ct; 9.34g; 59x40mm), attributed to Donovan & Overland, features a bar with a winch with a tray of nuggets and below is a miner's bucket and from one end to the other end of the bar is an arched bar and attached are the cut-out letters, "Mt MAGNET", pin-back with safety chain, in damaged box of William Hooper, Watchmaker Jeweller and optician, Perth & Fremantle. Toned extremely fine.
