TIBERIUS, (A.D. 14-37), silver denarius, Lugdunum mint, issued A.D. 14-37, (3.594 grams), obv. laureate head of Tiberius to right, around [TI CAESAR DIVI] AVG F AVGVST[VS], rev. PONTIF [MAXIM], Livia seated to right, with vertical sceptre and branch, (S.1763 [£175 VF], RIC 30, BMC 48, H.916 [304]). Minor abrasion on head of Tiberius, off centred, minor surface porosity, grey tone, otherwise fine - very fine.
