L. CORNELIUS SULLA AND L. Manlius Torquatus, (c.82 B.C.), silver denarius, mint moving with Sulla, (3.960 grams), obv. Roma helmeted head to right, L. MANLI before, PRO Q behind, rev. Sulla in walking quadriga to right, crowned by Victory above, traces of L.SVLLA IM in exergue, (S.286 [£175 EF], Cr.367/5, Syd.757, B.Manlia 4). Good very fine/nearly extremely fine, very scarce.

A military issue of Sulla at the time of the civil war in Italy in 82 B.C. The coin has the additional name of Sulla's proquaestor who was later Consul in 65 B.C.
