ANONYMOUS SERIES, (shortly after 211 B.C.), silver victoriatus, (3.282 grams), Rome mint, obv. laureate head of Jupiter to right, border of dots, rev. Victory to right, crowning trophy, in exergue ROMA, dotted border, (S.49 [£140 EF], Cr.44/1 or 53/1, Syd. 83). Good very fine, struck on a large flan.
