HERACLIUS, (610-641), gold solidus, Constantinople mint, issued 626-629, (4.420 grams), Officina I, obv. facing busts of Heraclius and Heraclius Constantine, wearing chlamys and crown, around dd NN hERACILVS ET hE[RA CONSt PP AVG], rev. cross potent on base and three steps, below CONOB, around VICTORIA AVGU I, (S.743, DOC 20h); other copper issues including Alexandria mint twelve nummi (the issue of Khusru II of Persia), (S.855, DOC 191); others (6). First coin holed, otherwise nearly very fine, the second coins very fine, others poor - fine. (8)
