WILLIAM I, (1066-1087) silver penny, BMC type VIII, PAXS issue, reading +IES[TIIN] ON PIN (Aestan of Winchester), (S.1257, N.848, cf.BMC 1066-9 [probably from the same dies as 1066]). Crinkled, very fine portrait, weak legends, otherwise fine.
