HENRY III, (1216-1272), silver penny, long cross issue, class 3b, issued 1248-1250, PhI/LIP/ONN/ORh, Northampton mint, (S.1363, N.987). Attractive gold tone, good very fine and scarce.
Ex. Richard Cyril Lockett collection with his ticket and illustrated on supplementary plate 76 (row 10 no 5), Glendining's June 6-9 1955 (lot 1203 part) and with Dave Hess, Baton Rouge Louisiana envelope.
