FAUSTINA JUNIOR (WIFE OF MARCUS AURELIUS), (d.A.D.175), AE sestertius, Rome mint, Postumous issue, (21.885 grams), obv. draped bust of Faustina to right, around DIVA FAV STINA PIA, rev. Diana standing to right holding torch, around SICERIBVS RECEPTA, S C across field, (S.1530, RIC 1715, C.215). Attractive black patina with flaking on part of hair, some surface marks on the reverse, otherwise very fine/fine and scarce.
