GERMANICUS, adopted son of Tiberius, (died A.D. 19), AE as, Rome mint, posthumous issue under Caligula, A.D. 37-38, obv. bare head of Germanicus to left, around GERMANICVS CAESAR TI AVGVST F DIVI AVG N, rev. C CAESAR AVG GERMANICVS PON M TR POT around, S C across field in centre, (S.600, RIC 35, BMC 49). Nearly very fine/very fine and scarce.
