EGYPT, Kingdom of, Ptolemy II, (285-246 B.C.), silver tetradrachm, (13.92 grams), Tyre mint, issued year 31 = 255-4 B.C., obv. diademed head of Ptolemy I to right with dotted border, rev. eagle to left with closed wings, standing on a thunderbolt, to left club and Tyre monogram, around SWTHROS PTOLEMAIOU, (SNG Cop. 491, Sv.658, cf.S.7773). Very fine/good very fine.
