ITALY, Lucania, Thurium (Thourioi), (400-350 B.C.), silver stater, (7.68 grams), obv. head of Athena to right wearing crested Athenian helmet, ornamented with figure of Scylla, rev. bull butting to right, YOURIW[N] above, [tunny fish below] in exergue, on exergual line partial legend of [M]OLOSSO, (S.443; cf.SNG ANS 1023-9 (same obv. die); SNG Lloyd 478). Even grey tone very fine and rare.

The signature `Molossos' is probably that of the engraver.
