SEVERUS ALEXANDER, (A.D.222-235), silver denarius, issued 222-228, Rome mint, (3.6 grams), obv. laureate bust to right, draped and cuirassed, around IMP C M AVR SEV ALEXAND AVG, rev. ANNO NA AVG, Annona standing to left holding corn ears and cornucopiae, at her feet a modius, (S.2203, RIC 133, C.23). Brilliant uncirculated and rare in this condition.
