ITALY, Bruttium, The Brettian League, (215-205 B.C.), AE 22, (8.09 grams), obv. laureate head of Zeus to right, dagger behind, rev. eagle standing left on thunderbolt, head reverted, plough to left, around BPET TI**W*N, (cf.S.704, SNG ANS 233, Scheu Num.Chron. (1961) No.121). Attractive black patina, nearly extremely fine and a very scarce symbol.
