China, Tang Dynasty, Uncertain type, copper, (c.A.D. 618 - 906), Sinjiang Province, diameter 24mm, obv. horse legend around, rev. legend in circles, (16.9 grams), (Sch.-, JMQB -, TFP -). Dirty encrusted in field, nearly fine and apparently unpublished.
A new type found in excavations in China in Sinjiang Province area.
