Charles I (1625-1649) Tower mint, gold double crown, second bust, mm Blackamoor's or Negro's head, (1626-7), no inner circles with very small head and crown, (cf.S.2697, N.2160, Booker 134, same obverse die). Large flan, very fine and the type very rare.
