Severus Alexander, (A.D.222-235), silver denarius, issued 228-231, Rome mint, (2.488 grams), obv. laureate head to right, around IMP SEV ALE XAND AVG, rev. FORTVNAE REDVCI, Fortuna standing left, holding rudder on globe and cornucopiae, (S.2207, RIC 232, RSC 64). Some original mint bloom, good extremely fine/extremely fine, and scarce in this condition.
