Nero, (A.D. 54-68), AE As, Rome mint, issued A.D. 66, (10.244 grams), obv. laureate head of Nero to left, around NERO CAESAR AVG GERM IMP, rev. S C across, Victory flying left holding in both hands shield inscribed SPQR, (cf.S.690, RIC 313, BMC 245). Rough surface, otherwise very fine and scarce.
