Sassanian King, Shapur I, (240-270), silver drachm, (4.218 grams), obv. bust to right with crown, rev. fire altar with attendants, plain below altar, (cf.Sellwood Plate I, No.12, cf.Gobl 32, Paruck 76, cf.M.811-819). Nearly extremely fine and very rare.
